Our Goals

We are dreamers.

We got a few of them. We want to be another reason for people to come outside to take in the sights and sounds that Vancouver has to offer. We’ll donate our time and effort to support local charities and fundraisers to help give back to those in need. Hosting music to provide a comforting atmosphere. The art murals to provide some life. Make some fashion statements to bring the word “fetch” back, its gonna happen. Collaboration is a big part of what we do. Teaming up with other creatives, no matter their craft, is a big part of how we started and we want to keep it that way. We want to give a warm welcome to visitors from all over Canada and the world.

Our Founder

Hey there, my name is Arturo. Little statement here about myself. I’ve done quite a bit for this small business, including this website, which took me ages because I forgot to press save. Thankfully the word documents for my menu did save and hopefully many will give it a try. I’ve been in the restaurant industry ever since my dad started taking me to his work right here in Vancouver. I started working there too, Zefferelli’s on Robson Street, it played a huge role in growing up. I loved the atmosphere of people gathering together, the teamwork with fellow servers, and especially being behind the stick. Bartending became my favorite role, a unique craft. Whether it was happy days or some tougher ones, knowing that someone was there to chat about anything was a pleasant feeling to have and to give. Hence why I started this venture of opening North Side Fresh. After spending some time travelling the world, I’m thankful for the community I grew up in. To be honest, I didn’t start this business without thinking about all those people that helped me along the way, I tip my hat off to them. To every reader of this little script and customer to N.S.F., thank you for taking your time and the support. No matter where you are, keep those dreams alive. Cheers!

Musical Grove

Even though our founder is quite terrible at playing the trombone, we enjoy hosting live music. Busking in front of strangers can be daunting, even pursing a career in music is quite difficult. We may not be a record label, but we’d very much love to support those on that journey. Call us, we’d like to hear you play your tune and we’ll spot you a drink.

Everything Art

From finger painting to orchestrating impactful murals, artists at any stage in their development are welcomed here. We are constantly inspired by the amazing street art found in Vancouver, Toronto and even in Dublin, Ireland. Interested in reflecting what you’re inspired by? Passion for Fashion

Who doesn’t like to look bougie, but also who doesn’t like being comfortable? We like both and our attire reflects that. We wear local designer hoodies, merch from local bands, to suit and ties, we’ll fit every occasion. To show our support for those skilled in designing our wear, and fulfil our own fandom of The Devil Wears Prada, share or message us who you like to wear and we may too.
